Food favorites are always an interesting topic. Fruits are a fascinating food type.
They can taste good and be healthy for you at the same time. So here goes:
Watermelon
Bananas
Apples
Strawberries
Grapes
I listed fruit I can enjoy without an allergic reaction. Others I wish I could eat are kiwi, peaches and blueberries. However these are several I have allergic reactions to.
Getting back to my favorites, I have to say watermelon exceeds them all. I wish the good stuff was available all year long, but unfortunately where I live it is not. So summer here is pretty special and nothing tastes better than homegrown watermelon.
The rest of the list is not exotic for sure, but I love them as well. Plus again, I can eat them with no side effects.
If I have to add a few more, they would be tomatoes and avocado. These two are very versatile and good and can be used in many different dishes. There’s nothing better than a great pasta sauce or a guacamole dip.
So there you have it! Those are my favorite fruits. Availability may make a difference for many of us, but taste still wins out!
