Describe one of your favorite moments.

Since we all have many favorite moments in life, that being wedding day, births of children and other milestones…my retirement day sits right up there with them!

The moment I logged off my computer program for my job, was one of the most satisfying moments ever! I even celebrated with a glass of wine and it was only 2 in the afternoon. I’m not even sure I can explain just how I felt.

After 40 years of being a dedicated and very loyal employee, it was just time. It all took place during the pandemic and I was already working from home. I swore to myself that when I turned 65, I was done!

I didn’t feel the need to celebrate with everyone over the phone so I kept it between myself and management. I did it my way!
