What does freedom mean to you?
What does freedom mean to me? It means everything to me! To be able to go outside and enjoy the fresh air or get in my car and drive to anywhere. Knowing that someone is not monitoring my every move. I think many take it for granted.
I’ve always jokingly said to my husband or friends that nothing was worth jeopardizing my freedom. I hear about people who harm and abuse others and think to myself was it worth being thrown in jail and losing your freedom?
To be able to think and express my opinions means more to me than retribution and vindication. Knowing that I can be who I am without causing anyone pain and harm is freedom.
So what freedom means to me is enjoying my time on this planet and living a full life without others dictating to me what to do! As long as I’m not hurting you, mind your own business!
