Who do you spend the most time with?

About 3 years ago I probably would have said I spend the most time with my coworkers. Not much comfort there to be honest.

However, I’ve been retired for almost 3 years now and enjoying my home and more time with my husband these days.

Since he began his own business, our time together has definitely increased since he worked for others. We have always had a great connection. Being together for 41 years doesn’t hurt either.

We’ve traveled more, enjoy longer evenings with each other, and realize now what we missed for so long. His business is seasonal so he’s around more during the winter months. Holidays are more fun because we can do more together.

The nice thing about spending the most time with him is just knowing him all over again and reminding me what made me fall in love with him from the beginning!

Just knowing he’s around here somewhere, taking a nap or outside working on the yard or the pool, gives me that little bit of added comfort. And I’m the most comfortable around him!
