So it’s a new decade, 2020. Is this the year or decade where you make a major change or keep it safe?

It’s nothing new when many of us decide to make major life changes. Turning a page as it were. The next chapter of the novel of it being about you. It’s so easy to say it, but another thing to actually accomplish. You know things are not the way you may want them to be at the moment. But what do you do to get to where you want to be in this stage of your life.

Many are facing this situation as I write this blog post. It’s a scary thing to consider, no matter what your age, male or female, rich or not so rich! When one is contemplating going from two to one or one to two, many things need to be thought over and prioritized. Lifestyle factors, financial situations of current status and your emotional state. Sometimes it takes time to get to where you really want to be. We stay in personal situations because we may not have any other choices at present.

The old saying of Rome wasn’t built in a day, could apply here as well. For some it is easier to do a major readjustment of how you spend your daily existence. I know for me, it has not been easy. Things are moving slow, but they are moving, in the direction I want them to go. Relationships of a longer tenure are more difficult to sort through. More years, more stuff, more emotions involved. The outcome will however, be the same. A move toward a more fulfilling life and future. My page is a little difficult to get separated from the other, but tugging a little more slowly will separate it without destroying the entire book. Get that metaphor!

Life is short. Life is precious. Making a move isn’t for the faint of heart. Strength prevails in all of us, when we know turning that page is the right thing to do. There are no pressures or expectations. You do it when it’s right and good for you. Don’t forget though….DO IT!
