It’s recipe time. Sloppy Joe’s have been around forever. I can’t think of to many people who don’t like them. This Sloppy Joe recipe is probably one of the easiest I have ever used. Most of the credit goes to McCormick. Their Sloppy Joe mix makes it to easy. I just add my little touches.
Sloppy Joe’s McCormick Style
Ingredients
- 1 lb. of ground round or sirloin
- 1 packet of McCormick Sloppy Joe mix
- 1 1/4 cups of water
- 6 oz. can of tomato paste
- 1/4 cups of red bell pepper and green bell pepper diced
Directions
Brown ground beef and drain off the fat. Add McCormick seasoning pack, water and paste.
Mix until incorporated. Add bell peppers and mix together. Stir until mixture comes to a slight boil, then sit on low and simmer for at least 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
